Our Ruach Distillery has captured the spirit of our wondrous land, journeying from the fresh springs of the Golan, across the Carmel Mountains, through the golden sand-filled deserts, gently carried on the eternal winds from the Judean Hills.
Ultimately, resting in our home nestled amongst the fruitful fields of Pardes Hanna, where our visitors are always welcome.
The
process
The process of creating our Ruach whisky embodies the principle of elevage, a French term traditionally associated with the nurturing and development of wine. Elevage,meaning “raising” or “bringing up,” involves meticulous care at each stage to enhance and refine the spirit’s character.
Malting
Our whisky journey begins with the careful selection of high quality malted barley, which is mashed and fermented to create a rich, flavorful base.
Distillation
The resulting distillate is then aged in specially chosen oak barrels, where the true magic of elevage unfolds.
Aging
During this maturation period, the whisky interacts with the wood and environment, absorbing and creating complex flavors and aromas. Our master distiller monitors this process closely, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal development.
Blending
This attentive nurturing over the years allows our Ruach whisky to evolve into a spirit of exceptional depth and sophistication,epitomizing the art and science of elevage.

At the Ruach Distillery, we believe there is a spiritual art in the creation of great single malt whisky. Using our state-of-the-art twin copper pot stills with time honoured traditions, we transform our quality malted barley, yeast, and natural spring water into a purified ethereal spirit.
